Evaluation Instruments

FSU requires that students’ perceptions of teaching be captured on feedback forms at the end of each term. Two course evaluation instruments used at FSU are the SPOT II and the eSUSSAI. Using one of these official forms, students rate the course and the instructor on a number of predefined scales and provide additional feedback in open-ended questions. NOTE: Starting fall 2011, SPOT will no longer be used for official course evaluations at FSU. FSU will only use SPOT II (Student Perception of Teaching II) for paper-based and eSUSSAI for online course evaluations.
